    AC-WCM Quick Start Guide

    The AC-WCM is Web Based Access Control system can be setup as 1 Way 2 Door system or a 2 Door 1 Way system, Either Standalone as a single Unit or part of a network of Controllers that can be easily managed through a singular Web Portal. 

    Wiring Diagrams

    The AC-WCM can either be Powered Via 12 volts or through POE.

    Initialization

    To Initialise the Access Control Panel Log into the Webpage. (Default IP 192.168.1.108)

    Select Language.


    Set the Date and Time.

    Set a Password and an Password Recovery Email Address.



    Click Complete to Finish Intialising. 


    System will the Automatically go the Login Page
     

     
     

    First Time Setup

    After Logging in a Setup Wizard is used to Configure the Controller.

    Select between Main or Sub Controller.


    ● Main Control: The main controller comes with a management platform. You can manage all sub-controllers, configure access control, access personal management on the platform, and more. 

    ● Sub Control: Sub controllers needs to be added to the management platform of the main controller or other management platforms such as DSS Pro or Smart PSS Lite. You can perform the configurations on the webpage of the sub-controller.



    Select the Number of doors the controller will use (1 or 2) Optionally Name them.

     

    Configure the Parameters of the doors, This will determine the wiring of the panel.

    Parameter Description
    Entry Card Reader

    Select the card reader protocol. 

    ● Wiegand: Connects to a Wiegand reader. You can connect the LED wire to the LED port of the controller, and the reader will beep and flash when the door unlocks. 

    ● OSDP: Connects to an OSDP reader.

    ● RS-485: Connects to a RS-485 reader.

    Exit Button Connects to an exit button.
    Door Detector Connects to a door detector.
    Power Supply of Locks

    ● 12 V: The controller provides power to the lock. 

    • Fail secure: When the power is interrupted or fails, the door stays locked.
    •  Fail safe: When the power is interrupted or fails, the door automatically unlocks to let people leave.
       

    ● Relay: The relay supplies power for the lock. 

    • Relay open = locked: Sets the lock to remain locked when the relay is open.
    • Relay open = unlocked: Sets the lock to unlock when the relay is open.

     

     

     

    Configure the Access Control Parameters

    In Unlock Settings, select Or or And from Combination Method. 
    ● Or: Use one of the selected unlock methods to authorize opening the door. 
    ● And: Use all of the selected unlock methods to authorize opening the door..

     
     

    Adding Departments, Roles and Users

    After Logging in on the Home page select Person Management

     

    Select the + to create a Department.

    The Same Can be Done For Roles.

    To Add a user, Select Add Button. and Fill in Persons Details.

    To add an Authentication Method. 

    Select Authentication Tab.
    Under Password Select Add. 
    Enter Password and Confirm Password.
    Select Ok.

    Adding Cards
    Select the Card Dropdown Menu.
    Select Add.
    Select Modify to select the Reader that will be scanning Cards in. (Or enter Card Number Manually)
    Select Add to confirm Card.  

     
     

    Setting Time Zones/Areas

    After Creating Users, you must set when and where they will have access. 
    On main Menu Select  Access Control Config


    By Default there is a Full-Day Template. 

    To create a Template Select the Plus.
    Name template.
    Adjust the Time by using the slider or by manually entering the time.
    and select Apply.


    An Area is a collection of door access permissions, used to give access to the selected doors within that area. 

    Select Area Setting
    Select Add to create and Area 
    Name The area. 
    Select Which Door(s) will be Included in this Area.
    Select Apply

    Adding Permissions
    adding permissions for each User into Which area. 

    Select Add Permission

    Name Permission.

    Select Add under person Info You can Add By Dept Role or User

    Slect the Area they will have access to. 

    Select the Timeline Template to use

    Select Apply



     

     
     

    Configuring Door Parameters

    If the door(s) Parameters need to be reconfigured after first Setup you can do that in the Parameters Section

    Select Door Parameters

    Configure Parameters as needed

     
     

    Important Note if Only Using Codes. 

    If only Using Codes to Unlock Door please enable PIN Code Authentication 
    Main Menu > Access Control Config > Unlock Method Config

    Enable PIN Code Authentication and Apply.

    Cloud Access

    On the home page, select Local Device Config > Network Setting > Cloud Service.
