Step-by-Step Guide to Configure a Wireless Reed Door as an External Detector
Connect the Wired Peripheral: Use a cable to connect the wired peripheral to the rolling door controller.
Access the ALM-D1 Page: Open the ALM-D1 page on your device.
Navigate to Devices: Tap on [Devices] located at the bottom left corner of the screen on your phone.
Select the Reed Detector: Choose the reed door sensor with hardwired access as the external detector, then tap on [Device Details]
Go to Settings: Tap on [Settings].
Scroll to External Input: Scroll down the page until you find [External Input], then tap to enter this section.
Enable External Input: Switch the [External Input] toggle to the "ON" position to enable this function.
Configuration input:
Area: assign to the specific area where it is connected (rolling door area). External Detector Type: will be set [Normally Open] (default). The alarm will trigger when the rolling door is opened . Shared Peripheral Alarm: will be set [Shared Config] (default)
