Network cables must be as per the network cable standard T568A or T568B. Both sides of the cable must be terminated with the same standard, you cannot have T568A on one side and T568B on the other,
If it is not terminated to either standard, the cable will not function correctly. It is also recommended to test any cable you have made with a Network Cable Tester prior to use.
