Example:
To set Zone 4 of alarm panel as Keypad Zone (ID keypad registered 2)
Check the keypad ID number first.
LOCATION 243 View Keypad ID
View the data in this location to determine the Keypad ID (1 – 8).
[#] [1479] [*] = Installer Menu - Location [***]
[243] = Location Keypad ID
[*] = Keypad ID – View Data: 2 = Keypad 2
[#] = Returns to Installer Menu
Keypad Zone Configuration
LOCATION 242 Keypad Zone Number (default = [0] Disabled)
These locations are used to configure options for a keypad.
Each location represents a keypad (ex: Location 251 is keypad 1)
[242] [*] = Zone Number – Subloc or String
[2] [*] = Keypad ID number 2 – Data 00 (Disable)
[4] [*] = Zone 4 selected on the alarm panel used as keypad zone.
[#] = Returns to Zone Number – Subloc or String
[#] = updating panel = exit/confirm
Then you program ZONE 4 as normal ZONE.
